Acest text nu este o cronică de film. Este o sumă de stări și însemnări după o noapte albă. Este despre demoni. Despre confuzia dramatică în care trăim după 1989. Despre vinovăție și ticăloșie. Despre minciună și adevăr. Trebuie să fie unul. Dar nu l-am căutat cu adevărat. Am plecat pe un drum și la un drum amestecați, schimbînd, unii, blana și nu năravanul. Blana nouă a devenit adăpost pentru vieți îndestulătoare. Luni seara, 2 octombrie, am stat mult pe treptele Sălii Palatului, după ce mai mult am tăcut și am fumat. Am apucat să-i strîng în brațe doar pe cîțiva actori din distribuția filmului Libertate, un film de autor semnat de Tudor Giurgiu. Am încercat să vorbesc, dar nu știu cît am reușit să fac asta coerent. Nici nu știu dacă m-am străduit. Am mers încolo, încoace, cu cîte un grup, fără țintă. Apoi, am rămas o vreme în noapte cu cîțiva cerșetori. De data asta, mi-au dat ei țigări. Iar eu am încercat să le spun cîte ceva despre film. Interesant este că nu m-au întrerupt, nu au plecat și mi-au pus întrebări directe, clare, care m-au lăsat și mai mult pe gînduri.
