Though the summer box office season is coming to a close, audiences are still looking forward to heading to the theater to watch some highly anticipated films. Cinema has been a significant form of entertainment for decades, constantly reinventing itself with films like Night of the Living Dead, which served as a seminal moment for the horror genre, Die Hard, an action film that is still being talked about after three decades, and The Lord of the Rings, which provided an experience of a lifetime in the early 2000s.
As films have become more reliant on CGI, we see various concepts in films that would've once been seen as impossible. Indeed, movies created with such care are best appreciated on the big screen. That said, 2024 has been enjoyable so far, with films like Deadpool & Wolverine, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and Dune: Part Two being box office hits. Similarly, the following month will bring audiences several more highly anticipated theatrical releases. With that in mind, here's a list of every movie coming to theaters in September 2024.
