Grace and Frankie came to an emotional conclusion on April 29, 2022, when its final episodes were released on Netflix. And from both having chance encounters with old flames to Graceeven getting married (then divorced) a second timetoa man almost 30 years her junior, the new life experiences for the two main characters never stopped. Even though they were pushing 80 when the show began, doesn't mean they were done with dating. In fact, as the show progressed, the two later-in-life ladies proved that life was just beginning for them.
Once the pair began to deal with the shock that their respective partners were actually gay and in love with one another, they opened the doors again for love. Eachsparked up romances with various men, keeping the ladies busy with their newfound single lives.Some relationships lasted longer than others, but each taught them something new about themselves and marked an important time in their mature lives.
Frankie And Sol
Frankie and Sol, two of the most intelligent characters on Grace and Frankie, had been married for decades, and they adopted two sons together. The pair appear to be soulmates in every way but romantically. Sol revealed late in life that he was not only gay but had been in a secret relationship with his business partner and best friend Robert for many years.
Despite the turmoil they went through following this reveal, along with a divorce, Sol remains Frankie's best friend and the person who understands her like no one else, and vice versa. It is only in her growing friendship with Grace that Frankie found another type of soulmate.
Grace And Robert
Grace and Robert had a tumultuous relationship, raising two daughters together and seemingly living separate lives as Robert worked as partner at a law firm and Grace ran her beauty company. They were often at odds but loved one another. However, as Grace later learned, Robert was secretly gay and in a relationship with Sol.

Grace was more upset about how this news impacted her ego than she was about losing Robert, who she had grown annoyed with. Nonetheless, there was and continues to be love between the two.
Frankie And Leo
Leo was an old flame of Frankie's who came back into her life and swept her away to a hippie retreat where he worked. There, they had an affair in a yurt. While Frankie initially thought that Leo was the answer to her prayers and everything she needed in a man, she realized his lifestyle was not for her.

Leo was very traditional and loved to live off the land and he did share some of the same sensibilities as Frankie. But Frankie had changed a lot since she had first dated him and now appreciated some of the more modern luxuries of the world. Thus, they were no longer compatible.
Grace And Byron
Byron was one of Grace's less serious relationships, a fling she had following the dissolution of her marriage. He was taking one of Frankie's art classes and represented everything Robert wasn't. The former convict was rough around the edges, straightforward, and dangerous.
This might have been what initially attracted Grace to Byron, who had one of the most romantic scenes on Grace and Frankie with their earthquake kiss. But their relationship was never one that would have lasted. It was only a short fling but helped prove to Grace that she was still beautiful and desirable.
Frankie And Jacob
The man who seemed like the perfect match for Frankie, Jacob was the handsome local farmer who she met by chance. The pair shared a mutual attraction and eventually acted on it, developing their romance into a serious relationship.
However, when Jacob made the decision to move away, despite being madly in love with him, Frankie could not bring herself to move with him. They remained friends, however, who simply wanted different things out of life and came to an impasse in their relationship.
Grace And Guy
Grace dated Guy for a short time, another man who was very different from Robert. He was free-spirited and loved adventure and travel, relishing in exploring different cultures. Once he decided to settle down, he met Grace at a restaurant.

As it turns out, there was some history between them as Guy had attended college with Robert. In the end, however, he wasn't the guy for Grace. They dated for a year, but after he said those important three words, "I love you," Grace realized she could not say them back.
Grace And Phil
After her break-up with Guy, Grace decided to confront Phil, a contractor who she had come close to having an affair with when she was married. Phil was, for all intents and purposes, the love of Grace's life. However, the timing was never right for them.
Phil was technically still married, though his wife had Alzheimer's and he was spending his days and nights caring for her. Grace did begin a relationship with him anyway, marking one of the times fans hated Grace on Grace and Frankie. But in the end, she could not bring herself to break up that marriage and take him away from his duties to his wife, especially after she met with his wife who recognized Grace. Sadly, Grace learned several years later that Phil passed away.
Frankie And Jack
Frankie's latest beau, Jack – one of the best guest stars on Grace and Frankie - is someone she met at a charity gala and began a relationship with. Frankie was thrown for a loop when Jack admitted that he spent some time in a mental institution following a nasty divorce from his ex-wife. Complicating the matter further was when Frankie discovered that Sol and Robert were the attorneys who made things so difficult for him.
Jack found himself competing for Frankie's affections when Jacob came back to town. He made grand gestures, like bidding on Jerry Garcia's shoes for her. But Frankie just didn't have the same feelings for him and couldn't continue the relationship. By the end, Jack had a deep dislike for Frankie due to the way she treated him.
Grace And Nick
Grace's second husband, the relationship was always rocky between the two given the almost 30-year age difference and Grace never feeling as though she was enough for Nick despite how strong he pursued her. A very wealthy businessman, it is discovered after they eloped, got married, and moved in together that Nick had been involved in criminal activities at his company and was arrested for tax evasion and security fraud.
While Nick and Grace will always have love for one another, they both realized she was happier living with Frankie. So, they decided to end their marriage.
