Every Movie Coming To Theaters In June 2024 (2025)

June 2024 is kicking off the summer on the right foot with a variety of movies, such as the latest entry in a buddy cop saga, a long-awaited Pixar sequel, a biker movie starring Austin Butler, the newest project by Yorgos Lanthimos, and more. 2024 is following on the steps of 2023 with many highly-anticipated movies, of which many have been critical and commercial hits. June 2024 is bringing some of this year’s most anticipated movies to theaters, along with other titles that will be worth checking out.

May 2024 brought a bit of everything for all viewers, such as the action-comedy The Fall Guy, the horror movies I Saw The TV Glow, Tarot, The Strangers: Chapter 1, and In a Violent Nature, family movies like IF and The Garfield Movie, and George Miller’s post-apocalyptic action-adventure Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. While some of these will continue to play in theaters throughout June, this month will bring a new variety of movies, such as a new Bad Boys movie, the return of Riley’s emotions in Inside Out 2, Austin Butler and Tom Hardy’s biker movie, Yorgos Lanthimos’ latest project, a prequel to A Quiet Place, and more.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die

Bad Boys: Ride or Die Will Be Released On June 7, 2024

Bad Boys: Ride or Die is a buddy cop action comedy movie directed by Adil & Bilall, and it’s a sequel to 2020’s Bad Boys For Life. Detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are back, and they now have to investigate corruption within the Miami PD when their late Captain Conrad Howard (Joe Pantoliano) is accused of involvement with the Romanian Mafia. However, a setup turns Lowrey and Burnett into fugitives, and so they have to work outside the law to solve this case. Also starring in Bad Boys: Ride or Die are Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, and Eric Dane.

Tuesday Will Be Released On June 7, 2024

Tuesday is a fantasy drama written and directed by Daina O. Pusić in her feature directorial debut. Tuesday tells the story of Zora (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), who lives with her terminally ill daughter, Tuesday (Lola Petticrew). One day, Death (voiced by Arinzé Kene) arrives in the form of a macaw that can alter its size, and it comes to announce that it’s time for Zora to say goodbye to her daughter. What follows is an emotional journey in which Zora and Tuesday try to make peace with life, love, and death.

Watchers Will Be Released On June 14, 2024

Watchers is a supernatural horror movie written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and produced by M. Night Shyamalan. Based on the novel of the same name by A. M. Shine, Watchers follows Mina (Dakota Fanning), a 28-year-old artist who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in Ireland. When she finally finds shelter, she ends up trapped alongside three strangers in a room with a wall of glass and an electric light that activates at nightfall, where they are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures every night. Also starring are Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan, and Olwen Fouéré.

Inside Out 2

Inside Out 2 Will Be Released On June 14, 2024

Inside Out 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Pixar’s 2015 animated movie Inside Out. Directed by Kelsey Mann in his feature directorial debut, Inside Out 2 reunites viewers with Riley (voiced by Kensington Tallman), now a 13-year-old teenager, and her emotions Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Anger (Lewis Black), Fear (Tony Hale), and Disgust (Liza Lapira). The headquarters of Riley’s emotions undergo a sudden demolition to make room for new emotions that completely take the others by surprise, as these new emotions are led by Anxiety (Maya Hawke), changing their already established dynamic.

The Bikeriders

The Bikeriders Will Be Released On June 21, 2024

The Bikeriders is a drama movie directed by Jeff Nichols and inspired by the 1967 photo-book of the same name by Danny Lyon. However, The Bikeriders tells a fictional story, which takes viewers back to 1960s Chicago. The Bikeriders tells the story of the rise and fall of the Vandals MC, an outlaw motorcycle club led by Johnny (Tom Hardy) and seen through the lives of its members and their families, particularly Benny (Austin Butler) and his girlfriend Kathy (Jodie Comer).

However, the Vandals quickly go from a surrogate family for local outcasts to a violent organized crime group, threatening the founder’s original vision for the club. Also starring in The Bikeriders are Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Norman Reedus, Damon Herriman, Boyd Holbrook, and Karl Glusman.

Kinds of Kindness is an absurdist dark comedy directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. Kinds of Kindness is divided into three segments, starting with “The Death of R.M.F”, which follows a man who wants to take charge of his own destiny after breaking away from his powerful boss. Next is “R.M.F. Is Flying”, in which a man suspects that his spouse is an imposter as she just returned after being missing. The final segment is “R.M.F. Eats a Sandwich”, about a cultist’s task to find a specific person with the ability to resurrect the dead.

Starring in Kinds of Kindness are Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Hunter Schafer, Margaret Qualley, and Joe Alwyn, with many of them appearing in all segments as different characters. Kinds of Kindness had its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
